Join us to learn how we roast our coffee at three fins! Our roaster will review concepts, terminology and provide you with a basic understanding of the chemical reactions of roasting. We will review our roasting process, talk about profiles, temperature, first crack, discusses the physical changes that take place during roasting and more. We will roast a batch of coffee and explain what is happening during the process. You will also taste coffee that has been sample roasted to fully appreciate how we determine a coffee’s profile. Please note this is not an teaching course but an interactive overview to learn more about the roasting process.
