Co-founded by Nick Mathis, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and chef at the Pelham House Resort in Dennisport, People4Tomorrow is a non-profit organization consisting of a group of philanthropic students and professionals in the areas of culinary arts & hospitality, agriculture, nutrition, and medicine. They work directly with experts in their respective fields as well as communities in developing countries to improve their livelihoods through education, training, and care.

The event is to raise funds to continue and further their projects for the people and farmers of Uganda. Their programs include education on the benefits of maintaining healthy soil, regenerating farming methods, to sponsoring medical clinics that have provided treatments to over 1,000 Ugandans.
